Fresh Eyes + Can-Do

The pictures below are of my first project, I’ve done a few others since and will post those over the next few days. Basically though what I do is walk through your house and then make a big fat to-do list for you and your realtor if you are at that stage. I’ll also make a week by week work back schedule with your listing date as our target. We’ll then go through the list and you would decide what you can do and what you’ll need help with. I can project manage it all or just the bits you don’t have time for. It’s your call.
This isn’t staging, I won’t rent you a bunch of furniture and props. What I do is, work with what you have, help you store what doesn’t work and if you need a few pillows, pots on the porch and flowers on the table I can pick those up too. If you want to paint or fix a few things, I can make that happen, too.
Every home is different and what I do is different for every home. Honestly, I think you should have me come over and work my magic even if you aren’t moving.

A Change of Plans

For years I’ve been working with advertising agencies, marketing firms and corporate clients, all good fun, lovely people and of course, amazing projects. Recently, it’s occurred to me that I miss working with people in a way that affects them personally, so I’ve started a new arm of Future Memory and it’s Future Memory House.

I’ve been working with a local realtor, Deirdre Doyle http://www.doylehinckley.com/ and a few of her clients to get their houses ready to sell. It’s been super fun and it seems my years of brand work, project management and interior design have paid off, because it seems I’m a natural.

It feels great to be helping people and seeing the look on their faces when I turn their house around. Some are sad to put their houses on the market, they look so nice.

I’ll post pics of some of my favorites. So maybe you are thinking it’s time to sell, or perhaps you just want to freshen up your house. If so, apparently, I’m your girl.

I promise to be better ... I hadn't realized I'd not posted in so long. Apologies if you missed me.

Arrival Immenient: Cool Gap spring with Pierre Hardy! Will Seattle get any of it? If so, will it last more than a day?

Reading random article in the NYTimes today .. great quote "retail is detail" .. as a longtime retail aficionado, it rings true
